This site, NoImpactMan.com, will remain as a sort of museum and continued resource.
Way back in 2007, I launched the No Impact Man project to try to help attract wider public attention to our intersecting climate, environmental, economic, social justice and quality-of-life crises. It was successful beyond my wildest dreams with over 3 million blog visitors, a book translated into some 15 languages and a film shown around the world. That conversation is still happening on my new blog as well as on my Facebook page and on my Twitter and Instagram feeds.
After more than a century, the consumer-based lifestyle seems to have stopped bringing the kind of health, happiness and security it once promised. So many of us are on quest for lives that are better for ourselves, our community an our planet. It means transformation of our culture, our businesses and our government.
There is a place in this conversation for everyone. That is why I hope so much that you will join in. We are on the path to something better. But we have to help each other by sharing what we find. I hope you will be a part of that conversation with me.
