We at the No Impact Project love our No Impact Week--a one-week carbon cleanse and contemplative retreat from consumption--which most people do online (go here for details). But for those of
you who are in NYC, we're making it even better.
We've designed an in-person No Impact Week, not run over the web but in real communities. In other words, people get to come together to discuss, learn, participate in workshops and form community around the examination of the values they want to live by.
For those of you who want to join in the in-person version this coming Earth Week, beginning April 14, there will be five gatherings taking place throughout the week on at our partners for the week, the Interdependence Project (for details, location, etc, click here).

If you are unable to come to all of the workshops, it would be wonderful if you could at least come to our kick-off on April 18th. We think you'll find the value of your week-long retreat from consumerdom completely enhanced.
